Advanced Web Development

In some cases, a business has sophisticated needs with their web presence, or perhaps wishes to significantly enhance their already existing site. Onsite Technology Solutions has several professional and personal relationships with very skilled web developers throughout the Houston marketplace, and can identify appropriate resources for our customer to choose from.

Electronic Commerce Development

The most sophisticated of web sites include electronic catalogs, storefronts, online purchasing, real-time customer service, and other features. The staff of Onsite Technology Solutions has experience in managing and deploying electronic commerce sites, and can serve as a project manager in such endeavors. In most cases, these services would be addressed by our Design/Implementation group.

Pricing

Basic Web Development

Basic Web Development services fall into three categories:
  • Design and Content Acquisition - a consultant will meet with you to discuss the various aspects of a basic business web site and document the criteria and parameters for the "look and feel" of the site. In addition, you'll be asked to provide appropriate factual information and textual descriptions of products, services, and other company information.
  • Web Programming and Publishing - a web programming technician will compile and link the information provided by the web consultant and publish the web site to a secured test system for your review and approval. Upon your approval, the web site will be published to your public web server.
  • Content Maintenance - sometimes information on a basic small business web site changes or needs to be updated. Your agreement for web programming will include a nominal amount of complimentary web content maintenance time each month, based upon the design parameters of your web site. In most cases, this allowance is more than sufficient to maintain current information on your web site. 
  • The Design and Content Acquisition services are billed on an hourly basis at $125/hour and are billed upon performance. Design issues concerning small-business basic web sites can usually be completed in two one-hour meetings, though some situations may require additional time. The Web Programming and Publishing services are billed at a flat project cost, based upon a pricing agreement reached by you and the web design consultant, and is billed upon final publication of the web site.
